Hi,change sets belong to Web Publisher, doesn't it?PDF's can be foundHome Support Technical Documentation and Advisories Software ~ D ~ Documentation Documentum T-Z Web Publisher 5.3 Service Packs or this linksure if it works, but you should copy and paste the link.Javadocs can be downloaded from Download Center.Good luckJoerg. Hi Sivasu,Yes, I have received that error before specifically from my Workflow method. The problem was exactly as I stated that the method verb was incorrect in DA and the class name in DAB was incorrect as well.1) Did you already check the method class name in method object you created in DAB as well?2) Try removing the.class file from the java_methods folder, re-compile the method and place the.class file again in the java_methods folder. Then restart JMS. Also restart the docbase, even though it is not necessary but it might help.3) In DAB, did you check the option under the method object properties that this method can be run as a server? And also ensure to check the option that it is a workflow method?4) Does this Java method depend on any other methods as Raj pointed out?

For example, are you using a class external to this method that is located in a jar file.this has to be referenced inside DAB as well for this method to work.I am not sure what else could be the problem besides these. Thanks,Umair Kamal. Currently we are using Documentum 5.3 SP5 environment. In our next phase development we will be using DFS implementation. At the moment we are not migrating any Documentum product from 5.3 to 6.0, however we do use DFS in 5.3 environment. Since 5.3 Content server is compatible with DFS6.0, we decided to use DFS instead of WSF?In this scenario I do have some queries with respect to set up environment.1.My Content server is in one Solaris machine and Application server on another Solaris machine.

Should I need to install DFS with BEA (part of DFS install) or should I deploy dfs ear into Websphere to have DFS on my application server? Which one is advantageous? Standalone installation will be enough for our business requirement.2. If I deploy DFS on Websphere server, do I need to upgrade DFC 5.3 to 6.0 manually or Will it be done automatically?3.
Do I need to upgrade the DFC 5.3 to DFC 6.0 in all our host machines (for Content Server machine, for other machine where client applications are installed)?4. Will be there any compatible issues for Documentum products being used viz. Content Server, Webtop, DA, DAB, and BPM if we upgrade DFC from 5.3 to 6.0.?5. How about the java version, I guess we require JDK 1.5 for DFS?Your help in this regard is well appreciated. Thanks in advance,Ram. Should I need to install DFS with BEA (part of DFS install) or should I deploy dfs ear into Websphere to have DFS on my application server?

Which one is advantageous? Standalone installation will be enough for our business requirement.I would go with a standalone DFS install on the embedded BEA server. I just think it is going to be too difficult for you to insulate your DFC5/Java1.4 environment and applications from the DFS and the DFC6/Java 1.5 dependencies. If you create a separate user for the DFS on your Solaris box and install the DFS with embedded BEA server, it's going to be very easy to isolate the DFC6/Java1.5 environment needed by the DFS.
Also, if you want to setup a separate WAS environment to run the DFS remember that it will require WAS 6.1 (not 6.0 which uses Java 1.4).2. If I deploy DFS on Websphere server, do I need to upgrade DFC 5.3 to 6.0 manually or Will it be done automatically? The DFC6 in the DFS deployment is just a jar, and will be found in the DFS ear. Do I need to upgrade the DFC 5.3 to DFC 6.0 in all our host machines (for Content Server machine, for other machine where client applications are installed)?4. Will be there any compatible issues for Documentum products being used viz. Content Server, Webtop, DA, DAB, and BPM if we upgrade DFC from 5.3 to 6.0.?I think these two questions go back to my original answer, no, you don't want to go installing DFC6 across the board on your webtop applications or content server. I really suggest you stick to creating a siloed environement where you have your DFS install running under a specific user, and leave everything else at the DFC 5.3 level.5.
